Prominent Hill is a copper and gold mine located 90 minutes drive from Coober Pedy. Prominent Hill has evolved over the years from an "open pit" style of mine to a full underground mine.
As an Entry Level Operator / Yard Hand with AMY Enviornmental Services (AMY ES) you will undergo extensive training in the operation and maintenence of the site Recycling Centre. AMY ES Operators are trained to conduct many and varied manual tasks, sorting or recyclables and picking up bins around the site. As you progress, you will be supported and externally assessed for a High Risk Forklift License, Heavy Truck Driving License, Loader Ticket etc. As a part of a small team you will be quickly relied apon to perform daily and weekly tasks in order for AMY to excel in our contract delivery to our client.
You will commence on an 8 days on/ 6 days off roster. You will work 12 hour shifts and stay in a modern and friendly camp environment.

Successful Entry Level Operators will be trained in site operations and be given the opportunity to gain the above mentioned tickets. This knowledge and experience will be transferrable anywhere in Australia in similar operations. The role will be offered as a 12 month "Fixed Term" contract with possibilities to join the team in a full-time capacity (subject to availability).
